Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Paro & transfer to Thimphu (55 km/ 02 hour drive approximately). Arrival at Paro, and meet our representative and then  transfer to your hotel at  Thimphu. Depending on arrival time, proceed for city sightseeing and visit Tamzhing Lhakhang  Monastery  or just  relax at the  hotel and or Visit interesting weekend market (Thu-Sun). Vegetable vendors from different part  of the country visit  for selling l their products.

Day 2  : After breakfast in the  morning visit Handmade paper mill, School of Arts and crafts (closed on Sundays, government holidays) where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan,  and then  visit folk heritage museum and National Library and ater lunch, drive pass by Memorial Chorten built in memory of the 3rd Kin and Visit Buddha viewpoint, Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley,  Enclosure where a national animal, Takin are kept and Zilukha Nunnery and Overnight at  Thimphu.

Day 3 : After breakfast, check out and proceed and drive  through Dochula pass making the most beautiful pass in Bhutan. 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens built  by queen mother in 2003. This pass more important than another passes. Depending on the weather  one can enjoy  spectacular view of the highest mountains of Bhutan at a sight  almost 180 degrees. After enjoying the  photo break, proceed to the warm valley of Punakha, and on arrival, check in at the  hotel and by later afternoon, visit the beautiful Punakha Dzong,  which houses the elaborated temples in the country. The Dzong, consists  the finest example of the arts and crafts and then visit Chimi Lakhang on your way to Punakha, and Overnight at  Punakha, with the altitude of 1350 m

Day 4 : After breakfast, proceed for a trip to the beautiful Phobjika Valley and visit Goempa monastery and  overnight in Punakh.

Day 5 : After breakfast check out and drive to Paro and check in and visit National Museum, the first of its kind with the collection from natural history to religious paintings and  then Visit 17 century Paro Dzong (Fortress) and then Visit Kichu Lhakhang, one from the two oldest temples built in 7th century. Evening visit old Paro town and  enjoy shopping with local handicrafts stores. and overnight at  Paro with the altitude of 2200 m.

Day 6 : After breakfast proceed for a day excursion to Ha valley and visit  Chelela Pass, your highest point of the trip at 3988 m here you can view spectacular views of both Haa valley and Paro valley. Depending on the weather conditions, you can  view the most scared mountain in the country Mt. Jomolhari (7314m) and after the lunch back to the hotel for relaxing  or you may visit any local shops and Overnight at Paro.

Day 7 : After breakfast in the  morning,  proceed to  hike to Tiger’s Nest Temple, the most famous temple in the country which  hangs on a granite cliff overlooking the Paro valley at 900m above the valley floor. This temple is associated with Guru Rimpoche who visited in 8th century and have meditated three months in this cave and converted the entire valley into Buddhism. Evening back to the  hotel and overnight in Paro

Day 8 : After breakfast, check out and proceed to the Airport to catch the flight.
